Borough Market chairman Donald Hyslop and Dean of Southwark Very Revd Andrew Nunn addressed the gathering which was also attended by local police officers, representatives of Better Bankside, United St Saviour's Charity, Shakespeare's Globe, Bankside Residents' Forum and other local organisations.
