The Portland stone base of the Southwark Needle at London Bridge has been covered with dozens of sticky notes carrying messages of peace and hope after last Saturday's terrorist attack which left eight people dead.
The notes have been added to the base of the Southwark Needle, part of the Southwark Gateway designed by Eric Parry Architects and completed in 1999.
The idea is similar to the Peckham peace wall after the 2011 riots which later became an established piece of art.
