Police have launched an appeal for information after a 25-year-old man was stabbed near Pattison House on Ayres Street on Saturday afternoon.
The incident took place at about 2pm on Saturday 14 April. The victim's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or changing.
Writing on Twitter, the Cathedrals ward Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "The immediate scene was searched at the time.
"Today [Thursday] an extended search was conducted by Police Search Advisors (POLSA) – the weapon and suspect(s) are still outstanding.
"Witnesses described the weapon seen as a large 'zombie'-style knife."
