The Daily Telegraph has become the first national newspaper to take up the story of the postal service campaign which originated here on the London SE1 community website.

Several forum contributors spoke to the paper, but some were unwilling to disclose their full names for fear of reprisals.

The comments of a Royal Mail spokesman will be of interest to many: "Royal Mail has been liaising with customers regarding problems experienced with mail delivery through the Mandela Way Mail Centre, SE1. As a result of our investigations last year, two members of staff were dismissed and the number of complaints have significantly reduced."
