Date of Jeffrey John’s installation announced
Canon Jeffrey John will be installed as Dean of St Albans Cathedral in July.
Canon John, who is at present Southwark Cathedral's Canon Theologian, will take up his duties as Dean and Rector of the Cathedral parish on Friday 2 July.
The official farewell at Southwark is expected to take place within the next few weeks.
The Dean of Southwark says: "Southwark is the poorer for his going, but richer for having had him with us so long."
The time of the installation service on 2 July and the arrangements for obtaining tickets will be announced shortly.
