Hours: Flexible

Come and join our friendly team in one of our shops in South West and Central London. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved with tasks such as sorting and processing donations, helping customers, working the till (if you want to), creating displays, and everything else in between! Volunteering with us is a great way to give something back to the local community, to meet new people, and to develop your skills and gain experience.

Skills required – no prior experience required

Benefits from this role – You will have the opportunity to gain key skills in retail and customer service, as well as ongoing support and valuable experience that can be used to get ahead in your career. Pre-agreed travel expenses and if you volunteer for over four hours lunch expenses will be paid. You may be eligible to study for an NVQ in Retail or Customer Service. After a qualifying period, volunteers will receive a 25% discount on any donated items they purchase.

Age ranges: 16+

We welcome and/or have the resources to support – volunteers from all backgrounds. We will make accessibility adjustments to the role if required.

Royal Trinity Hospice provides skilled, compassionate care and support to people with progressive, life-limiting illnesses and those close to them.

We support people living in our London community, at home and at the hospice. At any moment, Trinity is caring for 700 patients.

All our services are provided free of charge to patients and their families. We receive only a quarter of our funding from the NHS and rely on donations and the income from our 32 shops to raise the remaining £10.5 million every year that is needed for our services to continue.
