The History of the Wellcome

What is the Wellcome – a company, a trust , a charitable foundation? Professor Tilli Tansey's talk will throw light on the history and work of this key organisation in the history of pharmaceuticals worldwide.

Tilli Tansey is Professor of the History of Modern Medical Sciences (funded by the Wellcome Trust) at Queen Mary College, University of London and co-author of a book on Burroughs, Wellcome & Co.
