Michael Punter's play is about Hitler's secretaries during the last days of World War II.
Gathered in the bunker, with the Russian armies closing in, two women reflect upon their lives with the Fuhrer, recriminate with each other and, finally, plan a daring escape.
Part black comedy and part thriller, Bunker Girls takes its audience into the tense and dramatic world of the Third Reich's final moments, shifting between the recruitment of the secretaries in 1941 and the playing out of the endgame in Berlin in May 1945.
The play stars Suzanne Kendall and Victoria Johnston as secretaries Ilse and Gretel. The voice of Tom Goodman-Hill, from ITV’s Mr Selfridge, also features throughout the performance. The director is Christine Kimberley.
