On 17 April 1940 Christ Church Southwark was set on fire by enemy action during the Blitz.
Stones in the churchyard mark the spot where the grass was scorched by a burning cross that fell from the church building.
75 years later, a commemoration service will be held in the garden.
Followed by refreshments in John Marshall Hall.
