Better Bankside Pancake Day Race

Teams from local businesses will compete in the annual Shrove Tuesday 'battle of the batter' hosted by Better Bankside.

Residents, passers-by and pancake enthusiasts are encouraged to come down and show their support whilst teams race up and down Stoney Street in a fast and furious pancake flipping relay.

Borough Market traders will join in the festivities with Khanom Krok serving their unique take on the batter-based classic and Change Please serving refreshments.

The event is a fundraiser for local charity Paintings in Hospitals.
