There's excitement for the whole family at Film Funday.
This month's new film for younger audiences this month is the eagerly awaited The Spiderwick Chronicles (US, 2008), starring Freddie Highmore. It tells the story of Jared and his family who move into an old creepy house and discover a book containing spells and information about other worldly creatures. This leads to visits from fairies and ogres and soon the children find themselves up against supernatural forces in a challenge to restore peace and order to the world.
Before the film there'll be a range of 'Spiderwick Chronicles' themed interactive workshops. Kids will have the chance to explore the super natural and get dressed up as goblins and ghosts, create their own storyboards and win prizes; all guaranteed to keep them entertained.
Families can also enjoy specially tailored menus at Benugo bar and kitchen, which includes kiddies' cocktails, puddings and a box of magic treats.
Workshops are free with a ticket to the Spiderwick Chronicles screening.
