Shakespeare's 445th Birthday Celebrations

Shakespeare's Globe will be holding a party on Bankside to celebrate the bard's 445th birthday.
At 6pm period musicians, stilt walkers and balloon twisters will entertain crowds along the Thames in front of the groundling gates.
The gates will then be opened at 6.30pm to officially launch the 2009 theatre season.
