A day of activities to celebrate 10 years since the building opened to the public.

Visit 30 design studios and see new products on display, take in two fascinating exhibitions, enjoy special offers at the restaurants, see the specially commissioned Tower illuminations (from 7pm) and get an opportunity take a trip to the top of the Oxo tower (numbers limited).

30 design shops open with special displays including new ranges/products from Bodo Sperlein, Hive, Black+Blum, Innermost, Kate Maestri, Miranda Watkins and many others from fashion to ceramics, lighting to jewellery. Part of London Design Festival.

Eureka 2006 design exhibition in the.gallery@oxo including the winner of the Laurent-Perrier Design Award. The Eureka projects brings together retailers including John Lewis and Heal’s who work alongside designers on briefs for a range of products including furniture, bone china vessels, shower curtains, carpeting and lighting. The exhibition features the results of the collaborations with products by designers including Timorous Beasties, Andrew Tanner, Ella Doran, Tim Parsons and Kay + Stemmer.

Drawing Water exhibition in The Bargehouse. Original postcard sized works by internationally acclaimed architects and designers, each piece inspired by water and its importance. The exhibition features the work of hundreds of individuals, including Ken Shuttleworth, Ron Arad and David Adjaye, which is exhibited anonymously and available for sale throughout the exhibition with the proceeds to WaterAid. There will be opportunity for visitors to create their own Drawing Water postcard. Part of the Arup Cause.

Tamesa@oxo brasserie on the second floor is offering 10% off its a la carte lunch menu.

Oxo Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie is offering a variety of freebies to ten customers every day for ten days from 21 Sept with the best offer on 30 September.

Free tours up the Oxo Tower – an opportunity to climb the spiral staircases and look through the giant O X O windows with marvellous views from its very top (not a trip for the faint hearted or those suffering from vertigo). A once in a lifetime opportunity – the tower has not previously been opened to the public. NB Numbers limited and on a first come, first served basis.
