Stray cat makes its home at Southwark Cathedral

A cathedral staff meeting has agreed the cat should be named Doorkins Magnificat because it is waiting outside the 'daw' [sic] every morning for the early vergers to unlock.

"This is yet another illustration of the way Cathedral congregations are steadily increasing," says head verger Paul Timms.
