New Year Fireworks 2013

The night skies will come alive in a blaze of light and colour with a display of stunning pyrotechnics by the London Eye on the South Bank.

There is limited space for spectators with the viewing areas likely to be full by 9pm or 10pm. Access to each zone will be closed as soon as it is full.

• Westminster Bridge will be closed from 5pm

• All roads in the area bounded by the River Thames, Blackfriars Road and Lambeth Road will be closed from 8pm

• Blackfriars Bridge, Waterloo Bridge and Lambeth Bridge will also be closed to traffic from 8pm.

• Barclays Cycle Hire docking stations around the South Bank and Waterloo are temporarily closed.

• The southern entrance to Blackfriars station will close from 7pm
