Winter in the Park

Cllr Adele Morris will switch on the Christmas tree lights at 4pm.

Warming winter refreshments, carol singing, plant winter bulbs, create lavender bags and take a tour of Red Cross Garden.

As part of Bankside Urban Forest, Southwark Council has commissioned LARK Landscape Design to work with residents, tenants and local businesses in developing design options for improvements to Redcross Way

Redcross Way Redesign aims to work with the local community and other users of Redcross Way to:
• Develop and deliver a robust, high quality design to create a greener street
• Create a safe pedestrian environment and safe access to local schools
• Enhance and complement the character of Red Cross Garden and improve the appearance of Redcross Way
• Improve the links and pedestrian circulation between open spaces in the area as outlined in the Bankside Urban Forest framework.
