Fundraising campaign to restore poem to Waterloo subway

Poetry-lovers have so far donated more than 600 towards the 4,000 cost of reinstating a poem which was painted on the walls of a Waterloo subway until it was removed by Network Rail this autumn.

Last chance to see Roger Hiorns' Seizure artwork at Harper Road

This weekend the Harper Road council flat which was covered with blue copper sulphate crystals by artist Roger Hiorns closes its doors for the last time.

Southwark's town crier Peter Moore dies aged 70

Town crier Peter Moore, a familiar figure at official events in Southwark, died in his sleep on 20 December.
