On Sunday Shakespeare's Globe hosted a free family fun day to celebrate the Bard's birthday. The theatre has also this week opened its new-look foyer.
The royal rowbarge Gloriana, built for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee River Pageant, was the star of this year's Tudor Pull event.
England and Catalonia share St George as their patron saint so it was fitting that Borough Market's St George's Day event on Sunday had a Catalan twist.
