Heatherwick's Garden Bridge could link South Bank to Embankment

Plans have been unveiled for a Thomas Heatherwick-designed pedestrian bridge across the Thames between Victoria Embankment and the South Bank.

Max Rayne Centre: new National Theatre building name announced

The National Theatre has announced that its new production building will be named the Max Rayne Centre in acknowledgement of his contribution to the theatre and a significant gift from the Rayne Foundation.

Waterloo pensioner tied up in aggravated burglary

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious aggravated burglary in Waterloo on Friday 17 May.
