The Unicorn Theatre in Tooley Street is searching for nine-year-olds who will turn 10 on 1 December this year, a decade after the theatre opened.
An embroidered triptych depicting City and Southwark landmarks - which took 4,000 hours over four years for four men in two prisons and one former prisoner to make - has been unveiled at Glaziers Hall.
The Roman Catholic Church of the Most Precious Blood has launched a £250,000 appeal to repair and improve its grade II listed building in the run-up to the church's 125th anniversary in 2017.
