NHS bosses at Guy's and St Thomas' have moved to reassure locals that it's safe to visit SE1's hospitals for outpatient appointments and that measures are in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection.
Staff normally based at Transport for London's Palestra headquarters building in Blackfriars Road will begin a phased return to the office from late September.
Transport for London says that it will continue to monitor demand before deciding when to reinstate the Waterloo & City line which has been suspended since March.
