Southwark Council is inviting local residents to comment on proposals to build new council homes on the grassed area at the corner of Balaclava Road and Fort Road in South Bermondsey.
The council has identified the grassed area – which is part of the Longfield Estate – as a possible site for development as part of its programme to build 11,000 new council homes across the borough by 2043.
"We are considering developing new council homes on the corner of Fort Road and Balaclava Road for local residents in housing need," says the council.
Residents can respond to the council's online survey until Monday 14 October.
