An international rainbow appeared on the tall ship Prince William on Wednesday as 48 students representing 10 nations flew their home countries' flags 45 metres above the Thames.
The university students were on the final stage on the Voyage of Understanding, funded by the HSBC Education Trust and operated by the Tall Ships Youth Trust.
The voyage aims to help young people from diverse backgrounds develop an understanding of different cultures and religions while developing life skills such as teamwork and communication, using the platform of a square-rigged 60-metre brig.
The students, aged 18 to 25, come from Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Mexico, the Republic of Korea, Russia, South Africa, the UK and the USA.
The Prince William left Brixham in Devon on 4 July to set a course for London via Bruges.
