Carol-singers braved the cold on Tuesday for a dawn-till-dusk carol-singing marathon to raise funds for a memorial to murdered Bermondsey Street cafe owner Gloria Burgos.
Colombian national Gloria Burgos, 54, ran the Goode Foods sandwich bars in Bermondsey Street and Tooley Street.
She was found beaten to death in her Bermondsey Street shop in mid-September.
Her death shocked the Bermondsey Street residential and business community and the idea of a permanent memorial to the popular shopkeeper was soon floated.
Businesses supporting the event held on the pavement outside Mrs Burgos's former shop included RW Autos in Morocco Street and The SPA Way in Leathermarket Street.
The carol-singers hope to raise enough money for a memorial bench and plaque to be installed in nearby Tanner Street Park.
Both branches of Goode Foods have now closed down.
