St Ermin’s owners to open hotel at foot of Blackfriars skyscraper
The American owners of the luxury St Ermin's Hotel in Westminster are to open their second UK hotel at the foot of the One Blackfriars skyscraper.
Developers the Berkeley Group had been searching for a buyer for the hotel element of their One Blackfriars residential scheme.
According to documents now lodged with Southwark Council, Amerimar will operate the 163-bedroom hotel in the low-rise building proposed for Rennie Street at the base of the 52-storey residential tower.
Philadelphia-based Amerimar's only existing UK holding is the four-star St Ermin's Hotel in Westminster.
Homes in the residential tower start at £1 million.
