Alastair Campbell, Tony Blair’s controversial former Director of Communications, takes to the stage at the Royal Festival Hall on Monday 1 March.
This will be his first London public appearance since his resignation last autumn and the publication of the Hutton Report. Alastair Campbell will speak on key issues of the day and answer questions raised by members of the audience. This follows his sell-out success in South Shields last week.
Alastair Campbell says: "I have always enjoyed the cut and thrust of political debate. I feel I have something to say about the state of modern politics and the state of modern media and I'm looking forward to discussing these ideas with audiences.
"I really enjoyed the first 'Audience with' in South Shields. It confirmed my view that the level of debate you get from the public is often more interesting and more challenging than questions from the media. The Royal Festival Hall is much bigger venue than the South Shields Customs house so I am looking forward to an even bigger challenge."
Alastair Campbell is already booked to appear at the Old Vic on Sunday 23 May.
• Tickets (£5-£15) for Alastair Campbell's first SE1 appearance are available from 08703 800 400.
