Pupils from Tower Bridge Primary School helped to plant a mature tree in Potters Fields Park this week.
The pupils – from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 – visited the park to help shovel earth into the hole around the new tree.
The evergreen holm oak tree – estimated to be around 15 years old – has been planted to replace an ash tree that had been found to be diseased.
