The eleventh Bermondsey Street Festival took place on Saturday, confirming the event's status as an essential part of the local calendar.
First held in 2007 in Tanner Street Park, the festival has grown to encompass the central section of Bermondsey Street between Crucifix Lane and Abbey Street, as well as Leathermarket Gardens in the west.
This year's event featured many of the usual favourite components of the festival, including the Holly&Lil dog show, maypole dancing and a programme of music and dance performances on several stages.
Alongside the main festival, St Mary Magdalen church hosted activities in its churchyard to raise funds for the Robes Project winter night shelter.
