Southwark Council has launched a public consultation on plans for a new controlled parking zone (CPZ) in South Bermondsey, centred on Thorburn Square.
Council officers are carrying out a parking study of the area west of St James's Road, south of the railway line, north of Rolls Road and east of Harris Academy Bermondsey.
A parking zone is a network of streets covered by parking controls. Each street is marked out with either parking bays or double yellow lines.
Details of the proposal are available on the council website and at a drop-in event to be held on Thursday 2 November.
The council says will analyse all responses on a road by road basis and make a recommendation to the decision maker.
The closing date for responses is Wednesday 15 November.
A similar proposal for a new CPZ in South Bermondsey was made by the council in 2011 but was not ultimately implemented.
