A silent 'performance action' was held on the South Bank on Saturday lunchtime in support of efforts to eliminate sexual misconduct and abuse of power in the theatre industry.
Participants in the action wore white ribbons and walked in silence around the National Theatre seven times as a symbolic act calling for the old ways to crumble.
The gathering took place on the UN's International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
The initiative had the support of National Theatre bosses who provided tea and coffee for those taking part in the event.
The NT has published a statement on its website regarding its sexual harassment policy.
