311 items seized in ‘counterfeit goods’ search at Elephant market
Southwark Council trading standards officers seized 311 items that were believed to be counterfeit during an inspection of the Elephant & Castle market last month.
The haul included sunglasses, bags, purses and belts bearing the trade marks of Ray Ban, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Gucci amongst others.
An investigation is ongoing.
