Reasonable.
Just had a Sausage Sandwich and Chips at the Anchor Tap. First time I'd been in there and the interior feels quite traditional for a pub with lots of little areas making it potentially quite an intimate venue. Most of the meals were about £5.95 with burgers a pound less and the aforementioned Sausage Sandwich and Chips for about £3.95. Not a huge portion but probably comparable to the Wetherspoons. Nice roll (rather than a sandwich) with two tasty Cumberland sausages and some hand cut chunky chips with the skin on (nice but could’ve been fried a couple of minutes longer) Probably go back and try something else on the menu just to gauge it a bit further but certainaly comparable to the Wetherspoons and the tables weren’t sticky!
