Reviews of The Pommeler's Rest

The Pommeler's Rest is a Wetherspoon pub and this means three things: 1) it is a smoke free establishment; 2) the Sunday roasts are served with American sized portions (and the food is pretty good too); and 3) it is cheap as a roast that comes with a free pint costs only £6.49. Furthermore, the staff are English (rather than European as they are in most of the 'trendy' bars of Shad Thames, which makes for much more relaxing and pleasant Sunday. Oh, and they don't show the football either - another plus.
