Reviews of Cafe Rouge

We've been going to this branch of Cafe Rouge for many years. The location is great, there is plenty of space and the service is generally good. But if you want good food, this is not the place! On Thursday night I had smoked Toulouse sausages. There was no hint of smoked, and I doubt that anyone in Toulouse would consider those sausages decent food, except maybe for the family dog. In addition, they had been cooked in advance and re-heated so they were dry and not even very hot! Luckily I had a two-for-one voucher which meant the meal was cheap. Otherwise over £10 for this dish would have been poor value indeed.
