Reviews of The Crown

The Crown is beautifully refurbished now, with large and clean spaces inside featuring a lot of original woodwork and some outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and professional and the punters lively and also friendly. I went late on a Friday to see a band, they say more live music next year, I'll be back even before then. Thanks for great evening.

just to let you all know. We have taken over at The Crown as of last tuesday. we wont do much to it untill january when we will start a minor refurb. untill then just little things like getting the garden heaters working, cleaning the beer lines and geting some constantly good pub food going.

This place was known for its food two years ago but the owners at that time are long gone.

The whole place looks more tired out and lacking ambition than its new owners - its only attribute!

The sour mayonnaise, bland menu and rude staff are all that is unique about this dying pub.

If it is still here at Christmas under the existing owners i will eat my hat - this would be cheaper and more appitising than any dish on the menu!
