By no means have we finished with the refurb so keep an eye out for further improvement ! The 1st floor is due to be completed (with planning permission !) by the summer and we can't wait to fire up the BBQ on the outdoor terrace !
We have met some great people who work and live locally and love nothing more than feedback on how we're doing, so please use this opportunity to make any suggestions and/or requests.
Alternatively, feel free to pop into the bar for a pint and a chat any time -i'm never far away !
Thanks for reading and if i've not met you yet - look foward to doing so shortly.
Cheers,
Scott @ nine.
First impressions - what has changed? - looks the same inside (apart from the decks and the missing Quadrophenia picture)
Was a pleasant enough time though, the sport-showing plasma TV had the sound turned down and the music was at a pleasant level. The staff were really polite - nice to see, max respect.
Did not stay 'til the musax man did his thang at 9pm - when he mixes it and pumps it out - just wanted a quiet pint with my mate.
The place needs SOMETHING though (apart from musax) to set it apart from the heard - not sure what it is, but to me it looks like Lazy with a lick of green paint. I suspect it may go the same way as Lazy if it can't pull in the punters.
Perhaps 4 out of 10 from me.
