not been open for many weeks now... Pity cos I have enjoyed lastminute suppers from there on many occasions...

New to the area and a self-confessed Chinese addict I was happy to see the Good Man restaurant on the New Kent Road within spitting distance. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced in fact very reasonably priced which immediately should have triggered alarm bells.
Sadly, I should have trusted my instincts and stuck to my belief that any restaurant that has the word "Good" in it's title inveritably isn't. The food was stodgy, with illuminous almost nuclear-looking sauces and everything was swimming in grease. Being overwhelmed by the price I had ordered a LOT of food but sadly none of the dishes that I received were worthy of merit. Whilst service was fast and prices are low I think the compromise is made by the food, or maybe I'm just a chinese food snob...
