Its like being in France!
If you like the menu ( available in Twitter everyday) then you will love the food there.
Its very french and so is all the staff.
A two course meal will now set you ( price have gone a bit since opening) around £23, but you are not imposed a service charge!
The door is a problem if you are sitting near by..
Overall a great little spot in an ever so increasing trending street!!

Went to that restaurant yesterday. It was the second time. The first time was OK and I wanted to give it another chance. I went with a friend of mine who is a real foodie.We both loved it. The wine was delicious and the food too. I would recommend the rillette as a starter. The Lapin à la moutarde was exceptional and my friend loved the Bouillabaisse. I can very happily recommend the place and I will be back soon!

Sunday lunchtime and Casse Croute was packed to its tiny bursting points. The food was absolutely wonderful. Onion soup gratinee was sheer perfection (took me back many years to student days spent in Paris on a budget but eating like a true Parisien). The boeuf en croute was a real treat( I can only dream of being able to cook with such skill) and puddings finished us off sending the borough boys home feeling well and truly satisfied. We allowed owner Herve to choose our wine, and why not? He knows his stuff. Thoroughly recommended.
