Would like to say a big thankyou to this shop and a member of staff (jason) for going out of hes way to deliver some pie and mash to my dad whos in guys hospital with cancer and all he wanted was hes pie and mash ,not only did he deliver it to my dad (they dont do delivery) he even took to up to hes ward and delivered it to him and shaked my dads hand, This just shows how far the staff and shop would go for someone and i will never forget this as it made my dads day, i will make every effort to visit your shop and shake the hand of this guy as theres not many people out there that would do this and i thankyou so much , was told an hour after delivery that it was amazing food and if he makes it out of hospital (which i pray for) we will both be using your shop ,Thank you again ever so much and i fully recomend anyone passing this way to visit this shop as they proved they go out of there way with there service ,Thankyou so much daniel penn

Been living at Tower Bridge for 10 years - so thought it was about time I visited...

I asked for pie and mash - and received a plate with a generous helping of mash, a pie and the green Liquor - cost £2-50. Total process from ordering to getting the plate full was about 1 minute.

Mash - top notch - I love mash and this was really tasty and smooth

Liquor - not sure what is in it, but it was tasty and was great with the mash

Pie - first impressions: not a lot of meat in there. However, what there was was very tasty - "exploded" in the mouth with a real meat taste. However, the pastry was undercooked at the bottom of the pie - very stodgy - but the top crust was very crispy

Would I go again? - yes defo, can't knock the value or speed of service. If the pie had had 2 more mins the pastry on the bottom would have cooked and the meal would have been perfecto.
