Reviews of Bar Blue

Usually an excellent place, prices notwithstanding. But last time I went there a couple of weeks ago staff were slow, unenthusiastic, and downright rude at one point.

Giving the benefit of the doubt for now, but watch this one.

In Bar Blue, we asked for one small and one large glass of shiraz. The waiter said he'd bring it over. When I opened the bill it was £16.88. The small glass cost £6.50, the large £8.50. They'd added 12.5% 'discretionary' service charge. The wine was Clairvaux. At this rate I'll have to stop drinking. I'm getting the bill framed.
