Reviews of Tavolino

The food and service at Strada on a weekday night were okay - but nothing special. The views, however, were spectacular! Worth going for that.

We haven't been to Strada next to City Hall since it had a refurbishment. It now has an upstairs area with one of the best views in London. The food and service was good even though it was a busy Saturday night. Book in advance and ask for a table upstairs - then sit back and enjoy what you see and eat!

I will suffer the hotch potch serivce for the lovely pizzas and the stunning views. We watched a waiter (not the one that served us) doing a circuit of the floor 3 times and asking other waiters whose meals these were until they finally arrived tepid on our table. We didin't bother to complain as Tower Bridge was opening....

Fantastic views, delicious food - very good for a chain restaurant. However... staff whilst friendly aren't as competent as they could be - starters and mains arriving together, for example. Not so bad it spoils the evening, but noticeable given how good the rest of it is.
