Reviews of The Grange

Thoroughly enjoyed relaxed dinner with friends at The Grange last night - there were 7 of us so we tried everything on the menu from the daily specials (super salad and gnocchi) to home made burgers to pizza and all our food was superb. Two of my friends brought their 2 dogs and the staff made a fuss of the dogs, brought out a bowl of water, and there are even dog biscuits & chews for sale at the pub. We love The Grange and that Matt keeps up the high standards. No connection - just a very satisfied customer

We too had lunch there yesterday and it was lovely - great food, amazing service and very relaxed and friendly for the children.

Returned today with more friends to try the Sunday roast & very nice it was too. Pork belly rather than loin, but still came with all the trimmings - crackling, roasties, Yorkshire pudding, veg & gravy. It was a very nice meal indeed. Photos are posted on the pub's Facebook page

Well done to Matt (owner) & Lisa (chef)! Highly recommend the Grange. A great addition to this part of SE1.

Been in twice now and the place is superb. The new owner, Matt, has bought the place and has done a great job of bringing it up to srcatch. The beer garden out the back is fantastic. Not eaten there yet but friends have said they enjoyed meals there.

I enjoyed a very nice lunch with friends yesterday at the new revamped Grange pub. Food menu includes some interesting pizzas, baked in the wood fired oven in the garden as well as home made burgers, crab cakes & home comfort food such as mac&cheese. I tried the chorizo hash which was very tasty. My friends enjoyed their pizzas. Will return soon to try the Sunday roast. Definitely worth a visit.
