A remarkable experience
Cafe Traiteur contributes significantly to the richness of life in Lower Marsh, in its totality a community resource like no other in London as far as I know it. For lunch they offer a Plat du Jour at £5 which changes every day and is always excellent in my experience. The proprietor is French, the staff are French, the menu is French and some of the clientele are French every day I have been there, quite remarkable especially considering the Eurostar terminal has long since moved to Kings Cross (sorry St Pancras). Highly recommended.
