Ethiopian food is really delicious and this is some of the best we've ever had. If you've never tried it you should!
We order one spicy meat "tibs" and one selection of lentil/vegetable dishes and they come with injira pancakes. This is both your plate and your knife and fork.
If you eat in they will put a big injira in the middle of the table and put the various stews on top of it, as a communal plate. Each person is then given an individual injira to tear off and mop up the food.
