Reviews of Pizzeria La Lanterna

boroughpaul's review of La Lanterna jogged my memory - I had meant to post here after a really good first visit in the depths of January.

Service was friendly and timely, but the top marks were for the strong rustic flavours in the pasta dishes (putannesca and aglio/olio).

Moderately priced and a real Italian winner, nicely different from the elegant, "fine dining" Tentazioni across the road and the superb Zucca.

Dinner for 3 of us last night - lovely pasta and meat dishes - huge portions and good service despite being very busy - highly recommended - I will be going back
