The Best
Good service, excellent food, nice decor. Visit and find out yourself if you can get a table. Very busy cafe.
Great Local Cafe
I popped in today (admittedly because I wanted to pet the nice dog that was sitting outside) and got a coffee. Great coffee, lovely traditional decor and friendly service.
Nothing else to say

Best cafe in SE1...?
Went to Terry's again for breakfast yesterday. Fantastic fry-up as usual. It's a traditional caf' but the quality produce is notable. They often have a 'sausage of the day' which was a delicious pork and leak this week. They now have tables outside which is great if the weather is nice. Service is great, it's run by Terry and his dad (also Terry I think) and the place has an interesting array of pictures on the wall detailing the history of the place. Prices a stupidly cheap - always less than a tenner for two people including drinks and toast.
