Good and very reasonably priced
I have eaten here twice - once sitting in and once takeaway. On both occasions the food was good. It's not a fancy pants place but that doesn't matter as the prices make it an obvious choice if you want Indian locally. Our take away meal was enough for 3 at under £15.
Excellent Cooking, genuinely Indian!
Dont get fooled by this quiet restraunt sitting in the corner, it doesnt boast of great service and great ambience inside the restraunt (maybe thats not their core skill.

But guys, you need to try out their cooking, the kebab's, kheema, and currie's are mouth watering tasty. Their chutney fresh and inviting and their Indian bread's fresh.

This restaurant is started by an ex cook of a fancy indian joint, so he's definitely got the cooking right and for the prices he offers you the dishes, its something you can buy everyday and eat at home.

I would rate this one of the best Indian restraunts in SE1, I also rate the Shard Indian restaurant, but if you compare the value vs taste. Shaheen rules!

I really do wish they get more patron's into their restraunts thought else convert this into a kitchen and start a takeaway restraunt.

Give this a go, you will not be dissapointed!
