Nice food but no atmosphere
I ate here with a friend early on midweek evening. There were only a handful of tables occupied. The restaurant has an odd lack of atmosphere - feels more like a canteen than a restaurant, partly because of the flooring and lighting.
The food was tasty but the portions pretty light and it didn't feel like good value. I'm vegetarian and a couple of interesting choices.
Felt very uncomfortable to linger and finish our drinks after the food so not somewhere I'd consider for dining out with friends. Convenient for quick eating only.
Enjoyable - nice food and good value
We went to Assado for dinner the other night. It was pretty empty - I suspect most diners were hotel guests - but it's only just opened so hopefully they'll get more customers soon. The menu was interesting and there were several things that I wanted to try. We had a selection of tapas style starters which were very good. I had a chicken curry which was had great flavour and the chicken was moist. My partner had one of their sandwiches, which he said was delicious. All in all it was very good value and we're looking forward to going there again.
