Elephant & Castle: Lend Lease deal under scrutiny
On Monday night members of Southwark's cross-party overview and scrutiny committee examined the council's decision to enter into a heads of terms agreement with Lend Lease Europe for the regeneration of the Elephant & Castle.
Borough High Street closed southbound until July 2010
Borough High Street will be closed to southbound traffic between Southwark Street and Great Dover Street until July 2010 while Thames Water and Southern Gas Networks carry out major utility works.
