Man pushed onto the tracks at London Bridge Station

British Transport Police detectives are appealing for witnesses after a member of railway staff was pushed onto the tracks at London Bridge Station on Sunday 31 January.

"Slab-like, monolithic and overbearing" - 17-storey tower at Borough rejected

Plans for a 17-storey tower of student accommodation at the junction of Great Dover Street and Long Lane have been unanimously rejected by Southwark's planning committee.

Hundreds of DVDs stolen from John Harvard Library

Around 300 DVDs and some computer games were stolen from John Harvard Library in Borough High Street during a break-in early on Sunday morning.
